Well, I know they paid a bunch of money to be one of the main sponsors. But still I can’t understand why someone owning a Mastercard, Amex or any other credit card must pay cash at the Milano Cortina Olympics. Try to imagine someone coming from another continent without cash , relying on the fact that in a city like Milan there should not be any problems. And try to imagine how to buy a ticket online for the Games without a Visa.

Inclusiveness doesn’t belong here. We’re not only excluding the poors from access to finance, as usual: here we’re excluding the middle class (and even the rich).
